Nestled in the foot slopes of the Brokenback Range, The Vintry is bounded by vineyards on three sides, neighbouring the historic properties of Audrey Wilkinson’s Oakdale, Lindemans Ben Ean and Drayton’s Mangerton, and the Pokolbin State Forest on its western boundary.
Our location provides unrivalled views of the rugged ridgeline of the range and an opportunity to interact with fauna and flora of the State Forest via “green corridors” on the property. The property is private and secluded yet is just minutes away from wineries, restaurants and the vineyard concert venues including Bimbadgen, Hope Estate and Roche Estate.
Getting Here
Pokolbin is about two hours north of Sydney. Travel along the F3 Freeway and take the Cessnock Exit toward Freemans Drive, approximately 90 minutes drive. Turn left at Freemans Drive and follow road signs to Cessnock, around 26km. Turn right onto Vincent Street, right into Wine Country Drive, turn left into Broke Road, turn left at McDonalds Road and then right at De Beyers Road (Tulloch Wines on right).
Follow De Beyers Road for approximately 1.6km (past the Audrey Wilkinson Vineyard property on the right) and you will find us at the top of the hill.
