During July, August and September, indulge in a world full of flavour in this personal wine experience showcasing some of Wyndham Estate’s most premium and exclusive wines. The small group tasting of up to six people is set in a private space in the century old winery that evokes Wyndham Estate’s rich heritage, reaching back to the very early days of the Australian wine industry.
A dedicated senior wine consultant presents 8 wines, each in purpose-designed Riedel glassware. The selection of wines includes old vintage wines from the cellar such as award winning aged Show Reserve Cabernet Merlot and Hunter Semillon wines. These old classics are contrasted with some of the more recent vintage cellar door exclusives such as the 2012 Shepherd’s White Semillon. It also features tastings of the limited release 2007 Black Cluster Hunter Valley Shiraz and explores the flavours of Australia’s iconic grape Shiraz, in wines sourced from other renowned Australian regions.
Wines from Wyndham Estate’s general tasting list and those usually available only to wine club members may be purchased at discounted prices at the conclusion of the tasting.
Prices $47 per person with classes held at 10am, 11am, 12pm, and 1pm. (approx 1.5 hours).
